After spending so much time at home sheltering from this century’s pandemic, an afternoon surrounded by beautiful sunflowers as tall, and taller, than I am was magical! Add in the absolute joy it was to finally see clients and friends I had been missing for so long, and it was truly a weekend like no other. I was blessed to shoot ten sessions that weekend, and I met so many new people (at a safe distance of course).
The Ford-King Family celebrated growing by four adorably fuzzy feet!

Anyone who knows me, KNOWS I am a sucker for the furry four legged babies! Little Miss Bella made her debut with her new family among the sunflowers, and she did not disappoint. Everyone in the field was enamored by her chocolatey cuteness, and her big brother Zackary was so good with her.

I have captured so many wonderful memories with Jenn & Parker, and these were just as incredible if not more so than the rest! The way their faces lit up when they saw the sunflower field was the absolute best. I loved watching Parker walk through the field, looking up at these bright, beautiful flowers towering above him. I wish I could have experienced it through his eyes, I bet it was even more magical!

Elizabeth & Jalen were a pure joy to photograph, as always. Watching Elizabeth gaze upon her sweet boy as he soaked in the sunflower field was the sweetest thing ever! I truly love these moments between Mommas and their little ones. The moments when their sweet babies experience something new and amazing this world has to offer, and the joy they feel watching it all happen. I truly love my job!

You’ll have to follow my social media as well as check my website for their next season! Some farms only have the flowers for one season per year, typically only lasting for two weeks. These sessions always sell out quickly, so don’t hesitate to book when the time comes around again.
